Welcome back, Harper's Bazaar!

Nach über 20 Jahren wieder in Deutschland: Harper's Bazaar! 

Seit dem 31. August gibt es die Preview-Issue am Kiosk, und ich habe sie mir natürlich sofort aus reiner Neugier gekrallt. Ich bin wirklich ein Hochglanzmagazin-Fetischist und kam garnicht drum rum, mir das gute Stück für fünf Euro zu kaufen. 

Und was ich zuerst sagen kann: ich bin wirklich nicht enttäuscht worden.

Man munkelt dass das Magazin sehr der Vogue ähneln soll, das kann ich so aber nicht bestätigen. Ich hatte die Vogue ein Jahr lang abonniert und auch gerne gelesen, mir schien aber jede Ausgabe irgendwie...naja..."altbacken", also jetzt nicht soooo der Knaller für 'ne 20-Jährige, wobei doch, für mich vielleicht schon...

Bei Harper's Bazaar ist das anders, okay, es sind sehr viele Bilder drin, aber auch einiges zu lesen. 

Mir haben eigentlich alle Themen gefallen, zwar kann man sich nichts leisten von dem was vorgestellt wird (naja vielleicht doch, wenn man nicht grade 20 ist und studiert) aber als Inspirationsquelle scheint das Magazin perfekt. Vorallem die Fotostrecke von Carine Roitfeld und Karl Lagerfel hat es mir angetan.

Ich freu mich schon auf 2014, wenn Harper's Bazaar regelmäßig erscheint, bis dahin vergnüge ich mich mit den 44768938407376948 anderen Magazinen, die ich immer lese, haha.

Back in Germany after 20 years: Harper's Bazaar!

Since August 31 you can buy the preview issue, and I bought it immediately, thanks to my freaking curiosity. I'm a real glossy-magazine fetishist and so I had to buy it for five euros. And I'm not disappointed at all!

Some people claim that the magazine is pretty similar to the Vogue, but I don't think so at all. I've read the Vogue for more than a year, and it seemed very old-fashioned, therefore not so cool for a 20 years old, but wait, for me it was... 

But Harper's Bazaar is different, there are many pictures in it, but also enough stuff to read. I liked all the topics, even if I cannot afford anything of the beautiful things shown in it. But it's perfect for inspo! And above all I really loved the photo series by Carine Roitfeld and Karl Lagerfeld.

So I'm looking forward to 2014, when Harper's Bazaar Germany will be published regular, and until then I will read my other 44768938407376948 magazines...my addiction, haha.
